This is the home of Martin Ferro-Thomsen, Co-Founder and Community Manager of Issuu, a leading digital publishing platform, where I currently work with building communities across platforms and media. You should read my personal blog to see what I'm currently preoccupied with. I have an MA in communications, art, and literature from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Just as Issuu took off, I was about to begin a PhD fellowship about art and organization, another professional interest of mine: How culture and commerce benefits from cross-collaboration. Read my thesis and the notorious 'thin book' of art and organization. I'm also the Co-Founder and lyricist of industrial art rock band Epic Typo. We've played several underground gigs, e.g. on the very secret Neck Festival and in a derelict industrial garage. The highlight so far was opening for our heroes Einstürzende Neubauten in Koolhaas' amazing Casa Da Musica. Previously I've worked in communications and project management at Learning Lab Denmark. I've also contributed to and edited technology magazines, newspapers, and academic anthologies on topics ranging from tech to culture. I'm proud of a few feature articles I wrote for Danish newspaper Politiken, where a couple made the front page. It seems like your browser doesn't want to show my sleek landing page, but you can go here instead. to see it. Thanks!
